How it feels ↓
Lying back on a wide flat rock at dusk, the water and the hills already cold, the stone still warm from the day

The Feeling

It feels like —

the sun-warmed rock you stretch out on after an evening swim. The light gone, the air cool, the stone still holding the day.

  • That first second of warmth on cold skin — the small, involuntary ah your whole body makes.
  • Lowering yourself into a bath that is exactly, precisely right.
  • Falling asleep warm against someone you love.

We assumed people would fold it away in April. They didn't — nine in ten keep pressing the button in June. Not to get warm, they told us. Because something loosens. The shoulders. The jaw. The breath that finally goes all the way down.

Not a warm bed. A place the body agrees to let go.

Tonight, Two Ways

The evening you know.
And the one you could have.

Tonight, as it usually goes

6:30 pm

The yoga class you booked at lunch starts without you. A call ran over, then someone needed something. It's fine. Tomorrow.

9:15 pm

Dinner done, dishes done, everyone else looked after. You finally sit down — and open your phone instead of going up, because going up means the day is over and you haven't had any of it.

11:20 pm

You lie down and the day starts playing back. The email. The thing you said. The thing you forgot. The sauna you were going to go to on Sunday.

12:40 am

Turn. Turn again. The other side of the bed is cold too. You do the maths on how many hours are left.

7:15 am

The alarm wins. You promise yourself: tonight, properly.

Tonight, with Litual

9:41 pm

On your way to brush your teeth, you press one button. That is the whole ritual.

9:55 pm

You get in. Cool air on your face, deep warmth along your back. Your shoulders come down from your ears.

10:10 pm

The thoughts still come. They don't stick. You don't remember deciding to fall asleep.

3:00 am

Nothing. You are not awake for this one.

7:15 am

You wake before the alarm and lie there a moment, doing the maths on how long it's been since a morning felt like this.

Setup, once: it arrives folded. Two minutes under your fitted sheet. Nothing else changes.

The Oldest Warmth Wisdom on Earth

Cool air above.
Warmth below.

For centuries, Korean homes have been built around one quiet idea: don't heat the room — warm the floor where the body rests. Cool air on your face, deep warmth beneath you. Generations have fallen asleep this way.

Litual does it with far-infrared: warmth that reaches into muscle the way late sun warms a stone, instead of sitting on the skin the way an electric blanket does. Your bedroom stays cool. Your body lets go.

This isn't heat. Heat clings. Warmth holds.

The Kozy Way

You weren't resting wrong.
You just had nothing left to rest with.

Magnesium at 10pm. Breathwork. An app that grades your night. Every one of them needs something from you — and on the nights you're most empty, there's nothing left to give.

Kozy is the one that needs nothing from you at all.

Needs something from you

  • Magnesium at 10pm
  • Blue-light glasses
  • An hour-long meditation app
  • Ice baths, cold showers
  • A twelve-step sleep routine
  • And on the emptiest nights, none of it happens

Needs nothing from you

  • Lie down. Press one button.
  • Warmth sinks in, muscle by muscle
  • Your shoulders come down from your ears
  • Your body lets go on its own
  • You drift off without trying
  • You wake up actually rested — having done nothing at all

Real Stories

The first night
they actually stopped.

★ 4.9 · 100+ REVIEWS ACROSS LITUAL AND POOM

The first night I turned on Litual, I actually cried. It was the first time all day I felt completely held and allowed to just… stop.
Elena R. · Milan · Litual
I used to take one or two hours to fall asleep. Now I'm out in fifteen minutes. No pills, no apps, no routines. Just warmth.
Sebastian M. · Hamburg · Litual
I use it at the office, on the plane, even at a restaurant. Nobody sees it under my clothes.

Before You Reserve

The questions
everyone asks first.

Won't it make me hot at night?

No — that is the whole point of the design. Electric blankets heat your skin, which is why they get kicked off at 2am. Litual's far-infrared warmth reaches into the body while the surface stays comfortable, and it works best the Korean way: keep the bedroom cool, warm only the bed. You also set your own temperature, from 25°C to 50°C (77–122°F) in single-degree steps, each side of the bed separately. What we recommend: start a little higher while the bed warms, then turn it down a notch or two as you get in. From what we have read and heard from owners, that gentle step down follows the body's own evening rhythm best.

Is it safe to sleep on all night?

Litual runs on 24V DC — the same low-voltage class as a laptop, and the class used in surgical and medical equipment because it can be controlled finely and is safe close to the body — with a timer of up to 12 hours and automatic shut-off. It emits no harmful electromagnetic fields, and neither does the controller. CE, UKCA and OEKO-TEX® certified.

What does it cost to run?

Peak draw is 100W for two people while the bed comes up to temperature, then it drops to a trickle. A full night costs about as much as toasting two slices of bread.

Will it fit my bed?

Any mattress — spring, latex, memory foam, roll-up. It lies between the mattress and your fitted sheet. Single comes with one controller; Queen and King come with two, so each side sets its own temperature.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Detach the controller and cap, machine-wash cold on a gentle cycle, reshape and air-dry. The far-infrared yarn is Teflon-coated and waterproof.

What if it isn't for me? And how does shipping work?

100 nights to decide, full refund, free return shipping within the EU. Every Litual carries a 2-year warranty. We ship worldwide from Seoul and confirm shipping cost and timing for your region in the confirmation email — before you pay anything.
