Every Kozy product starts from experience, not a trend report. Our own bodies. The customers we've sat with. The questions the wellness market kept answering with assumptions instead of listening.

So we build the other way around: feel the gap first, engineer second, and never ship anything we wouldn't sleep on ourselves. From the hand-feel of a fabric to the weight of a controller in a half-asleep hand — the details are the product.

Comfort isn't a luxury. It's a baseline. That conviction is the whole company.

I've spent thirty years on manufacturing floors — from small workshops to large factories, learning with my hands how raw material becomes something worth owning. The whole way, I kept asking one question: could this be made better?

That's what I bring to Kozy. Every stitch, every material choice, every quality standard carries those thirty years. I don't just know how things are made. I know how they should be.

I've spent my career close to the things people live with — and to the gap between what's sold to us and what we actually need. Kozy started in that gap: the things I kept looking for and couldn't find, built properly, without the mysticism the wellness aisle usually wraps them in.

When I picture Kozy in bedrooms from Seoul to Paris to Dubai — at the end of someone's hardest day, doing its quiet work — that's the whole ambition. That's enough.

In warmth, we thrive.

Even on my best days, I've often felt like a swan. I wish I meant the grace. I mean the other part — calm on the surface, paddling furiously underneath, for so long that the paddling starts to feel like who you are.

At some point I understood that most of my days, and my nights, were being run by that quiet churning. So I went looking for what actually made it stop. After years of research, experiments, and honest failures, the answer turned out to be almost embarrassingly simple: warmth.

I know exactly what it feels like to wake up in a cold bed with your thoughts already racing. That's why we started this — to build warmth that fits into a real, demanding life. If you give most of your warmth away all day, you deserve somewhere to refill it.

Kozy is meant to be that place: the last ritual at the end of your day, the first kindness at the start of the next.

Not long after starting Kozy. A sublet I had to talk my way into, papers on the wall, and a great many sleepless nights spent building a product for better sleep. The irony was not lost on me. On the top sheet it says: Through Kozy I want to — have more people feel what I've felt along the journey, and gently remind them that it's okay.
